Alpine County 150th Anniversary

Hello Alpiners,

Well Happy 150th Birthday to Alpine County.
It was a long time in coming, about 150 years, and it is one time that you can say she hasn't changed a bit.

At the BOS meeting Representatives from Congressman McClintock, Senator Gaines, and Assemblyman Bigelow Offices presented a Proclamation Honoring Alpine County on our 150th Anniversary.

Gwen McGinley was honored for her 100th birthday and later at the 50+ club luncheon she was also named "Senior of the Year"

If you would like to see the coverage that Alpine County received follow this link.

While all this was happening around us, it was another beautiful week in Alpine County - clear  skies, perfect weather, and as always, spectacular views in all directions.

You all have a great week and remember to think "come on rain and snow".

Even though it is the first day of Spring still hope for a weather change.

Tom
