Alpine County 150th Anniversary

Hello Alpiners,

Well Happy 150^th Birthday to Alpine County.  It was a long time in coming, about 150 years, and it is one time that you can say she hasn't changed a bit.

At the BOS meeting Representatives from Congressman McClintock, Senator Gaines, and Assemblyman Bigelow Offices presented a Proclamation Honoring Alpine County on our 150th Anniversary.

Gwen McGinley was honored for her 100th birthday and later at the 50+ club luncheon she was also named "Senior of the Year"

While all this was happening around us, it was another beautiful week in Alpine County - clear  skies, perfect weather, and as always, spectacular views in all directions.

Even though it is the first day of Spring still hope for a weather change.
