STEEPS CAMPS (SKIERS ONLY)
These terrain specific co-ed camps focus on terrain exploration and skill development in off-piste conditions. Open to intermediate through expert skiers, camp cost includes six hours of coaching, lunch and video analysis (weather permitting) plus a brief introduction to backcountry gear and protocol. Groups are arranged based on ability and snow conditions.
Camps start promptly at 9am and run for six hours (camps with three people or less will run for four hours). Groups range from three to six people and are organized based on ability.

WOMEN’S 1 DAY SKI/BOARD CAMP
Our Women's 1 Day Camps are for intermediate thru expert ladies (levels 6-9) looking for more than just a day at the spa! These six hour clinics offer a full day of coaching with some of our top female Expedition Guides. Camps focus on exploration and skill development in a variety of terrain and conditions. Cost includes lunch and video analysis (weather permitting).
Camps start promptly at 9am and run for six hours (camps with three people or less will run for four hours). Groups range from three to six people and are organized based on ability and snow conditions.

WOMEN’S 3-DAY CAMP
This one is just for the ladies! Open to intermediate thru expert skiers and riders, this three day escape is about fun, friendship, adventure and doing something just for you. Throughout the weekend, you will tackle a variety of terrain and snow conditions while working on terrain selection, off-piste and freestyle skiing and riding. Camp includes three days of continental breakfast and lunch, Friday night dinner, Saturday night wine and cheese party and a swag bag of goodies to take home with you. Members of the K2 Women's Alliance team will be there with women's specific gear for demo and to ski with the ladies on the weekend. Discount lodging for participants, call 800.967.7500.

BACKCOUNTRY CAMP/AIARE LEVEL 1
New this year at Expedition:Kirkwood is the intensive four day Backcountry Camp for skiers and riders. Taught by professional guides and avalanche instructors, this camp will follow the American Institute of Avalanche Research and Education (AIARE) guidelines for a Level 1 Certificate. Students will walk away from the session with a solid understanding of how to travel safely and efficiently in a backcountry environment. PROGRESSION SESSIONS - SKI/BOARD
These two hour, hard-charging clinics are terrific for skiers and boarders wanting to brush up on technique and master the skills to handle whatever might come their way. Progression Sessions focus on the conditions of the day and our guides lead by example using the chairlift for instructional time so your time on the snow is spent riding. No waiting in lift lines and lots of laps!
Clinics run from 11am – 1pm, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays (holiday dates: 12/24 - 12/28/2012; 12/31/2012; 1/1/2013; 1/21/2013; 2/18/2013)

BACKCOUNTRY AWARENESS CLINICS
Our Backcountry Awareness Course is a great introduction to avalanche awareness and will create a solid foundation upon which to build skills in the AIARE Level 1 Course. Learn the basic skills needed to venture safely inside resort boundaries or into basic lift accessed backcountry terrain in this four hour course. Course covers avalanche awareness and avoidance, equipment usage, snow observations and safe terrain travel techniques. Clinics are lead by Expedition Guides and are limited to 8-10 participants. Strong intermediate through upper skill level needed.
Clinics start promptly at 10am with 1.5 hours of classroom time and 2.5 hours of field time. Advance reservations are highly recommended, clinics fill up fast and have a maximum of 12 participants.
